Ramblings about life . . .

What I share about my life is simply to help reinforce the understanding that it is possible to live with love and laughter, even with tough times.

Life is what we make of it, no matter how harrowing. We accept and embody this with-in ourselves, thereby allowing the energy to manifest outwardly in our reality.

It starts with each one of us as an individual to form the collective consciousness.

Be the dream.

We honour the light and the life within you.

I upload other bloggers' posts and then delete after a month. This is my journey and others help me understand where I am, until they become irrelevant (a few posts excepted).

Come together right now...

A wonderful blog of a friend to wake to this morning -

This article from Volunteering England illustrates that people can and do come together in times of crisis.

Something to celebrate…

Maybe this is the change which these riots will bring about ...people caring about each other and the places where they live...

People coming together ... after all that is also what those who are doing the rioting want .. a community that they feel part of ...someone to care about them ..and something to care about....

*****************************************************

The community response to the riots deserves to be celebrated

This morning thousands of people across the UK have come together to clean up their cities following three days of civil unrest.

Through word of mouth, social networking sites and local groups they have spontaneously taken to the streets in a demonstration of the resilience of our communities.

Volunteering England is privileged to work with individuals, communities and organisations that are tireless in their efforts to improve the lives of others.

Every day people pull together to tackle the problems that we face, but it’s perhaps only in times of crisis that it becomes clear just how committed we are to each other and the places we live in.
