Ramblings about life . . .

What I share about my life is simply to help reinforce the understanding that it is possible to live with love and laughter, even with tough times.

Life is what we make of it, no matter how harrowing. We accept and embody this with-in ourselves, thereby allowing the energy to manifest outwardly in our reality.

It starts with each one of us as an individual to form the collective consciousness.

Be the dream.

We honour the light and the life within you.

I upload other bloggers' posts and then delete after a month. This is my journey and others help me understand where I am, until they become irrelevant (a few posts excepted).

A weekend of reminiscing

Well, Ashlee is here.

I cannot tell you how great it is to have her energy in the house. It has been slightly testosterone-heavy since she left in 2010.

I've been wading through this unbalanced field since.

Holidays, allergies and detoxing

We're going to spend the weekend in Auckland again.

Our daughter is arriving from Sydney to spend two weeks with us. We'll take her sightseeing, visit family and then come back to Hamilton on Sunday evening.

Chippy choppy

It has been four years since the 2012 walk-in. I would love to say it is been a deliriously happy life we lead, but I can't. It has been decidedly choppy since then.

Little did I realise how much of an adjustment it would be for both of us. We're still going through it but so far we are in one piece, slightly battered, a little stronger and, dare I say it, wiser?

Raw food and homeopathy

We met this little fella on one of our walks in Hamilton, snoozing in the sun

One of my kitties is sick with a cold. Having never had a day of illness in his life, he is rather unhappy about this.

The fact that he has a cold reinforces my conviction that vaccinations make things worse rather than help. Both my cats were only ever treated with homeopathy and their yearly "vaccinations" were nosodes. The only time my homeopathic vet in the UK used an antibiotic was when our male cat was involved in a fight and was bitten on his tail. She was worried that if there was an infection it was too close to the spine to leave it to chance.
