Ramblings about life . . .

What I share about my life is simply to help reinforce the understanding that it is possible to live with love and laughter, even with tough times.

Life is what we make of it, no matter how harrowing. We accept and embody this with-in ourselves, thereby allowing the energy to manifest outwardly in our reality.

It starts with each one of us as an individual to form the collective consciousness.

Be the dream.

We honour the light and the life within you.

I upload other bloggers' posts and then delete after a month. This is my journey and others help me understand where I am, until they become irrelevant (a few posts excepted).

So tired

Yesterday I experienced tiredness as never before.

Saturday was a fabulous day. We found what we were looking for in the lanes in Brighton. I actually had no idea what I wanted, so went with an open mind. I also asked for some help and took the fairies with us.

We kinda wandered around the lanes (I do so love the lanes in Brighton – it has an arty feel to it – very eclectic mix of various shops in a way that only the UK can have).

I’d had a look on the internet at handfasting rings with runes carved on them, as well as conventional stuff but simply got more confused, so I stopped.

Hubby, unbeknownst to me had taken our ‘old rings’ as well as my grandmother’s wedding band with. When she passed over she left this to me and it has been sitting in my jewellery box for years as I could not wear it. She had really tiny fingers and I couldn’t even get the band over my little finger. I’d hummed and hahed about what to do with it, so when I lost my engagement ring, I considered having it melted down and used for another one.

But could never get my ass into gear to do anything about it.

But has hubby said…everything happens in its right time…as it did on Saturday.

He pointed out a ring in the window of a jeweller that sold second hand rings. When I looked at it, it simply jumped out at me and said ‘here I am’. Wow, couldn’t take my eyes off it.

We went inside and asked to see it. It is an engagement ring…which kinda surprised me…although it shouldn’t really…anything that is right is right.

It had a single diamond surrounded by curving white gold on a band of yellow gold. Very pretty and very dainty. I have long thin fingers so anything too bulky looks ridiculous.

Hubby hauled our old rings out and asked the question. The jeweller himself came to talk to us and we agreed a deal. He would melt my old wedding ring and my grandmother’s ring down to form one wedding band shaped to go with the engagement ring.

Hubby’s old signet ring with the jet stone in it would also be melted into a simple gold band. This is the wedding ring he had to have cut off at the fire station because he'd dislocated his finger just before we left for Australia. Of course it had to happen as hubby was changing entities during that time.

We are going to do something with the stone (not sure what) once we get everything back in two weeks.

As we stepped out of the jewellery shop, I noticed opposite was a ‘fairy shop’, which made me smile. I never ask the fairies to confirm...because it is always my choice...but a little help before and after goes a long way to making the choice.

Symbolically I think it is a great way to go ahead. The engagement ring is new to me but second hand – like our marriage. Hubby is the same body…but different entity.

I am melding my medium grandmother’s ring with mine – my ancestry is becoming part of my marriage and because it is a new phase we are entering into – they are both morphing into a new ring.

The same with hubby’s ring. He might be the same body but inside is a different entity. So using his old ring…it is morphing into something else from the old for the new entity.

On the way back, hubby made a detour via the Llama Park for cream tea to celebrate. We had a wander around the park connecting with the llamas and the alpacas. Beautiful beings. We also discovered they had reindeer and two babies.

The Llama has a high tolerance for persevering under a burden. Though they can become stubborn if treated poorly, they are hard working and dependable. Lessons to be learned from the llama are:
  • Endurance under difficult situations
  • Responsibility and hard work
  • Balanced action that comes from perseverance toward a worthy goal

Reindeer have a savvy knowing and they are cunning survivalists able to live in brutal environments.

Hmm…wonder what I am being told?

When I woke on Sunday I was surprised to find I had NO energy AT ALL. I sat outside in the sun unable to even meditate. I was going to do so much but couldn’t.

Hubby did a BBQ and I merely sat and watched him…I’m surprised I was able to eat.

I did manage to go for a short walk and encountered a new friend.

The Horse symbol meanings of power are widespread through most cultures, and it is linked as an emblem of life-force. Many cultures assign the attributes of the four elements to the Horse: Earth, Fire, Air, and Water. It also symbolises power, beauty, nobility, strength and freedom.

I have loved horses all my life.

All in all a very strange day…

I slept most of the day and then was in bed by 9.00 and slept for another 10 hours solid. I feel a bit stiff this morning, but a whole lot better.

With all the above symbolism about endurance…I am wondering what is ahead for us?

P.S. Much later...

I have subsequently discovered that all these animals are lending us their strength and endurance, as we all make these monumental changes, because it benefits them too.

If you feel drawn to do so, call upon the elementals, nature spirits, devas, angels, dragons, unicorns and the animals/birds/plants for assistance.

Oh, I love the llama park. The energy of the alpacas is just beautiful. I love the energy of Ashdown Forest too, makes a nice change from the seafront energy where I live.

I find Brighton a very high vibe place to spend time, maybe contributed to your exhaustion. I'm sure Brighton was happy for you to be there :)
