Ramblings about life . . .

What I share about my life is simply to help reinforce the understanding that it is possible to live with love and laughter, even with tough times.

Life is what we make of it, no matter how harrowing. We accept and embody this with-in ourselves, thereby allowing the energy to manifest outwardly in our reality.

It starts with each one of us as an individual to form the collective consciousness.

Be the dream.

We honour the light and the life within you.

I upload other bloggers' posts and then delete after a month. This is my journey and others help me understand where I am, until they become irrelevant (a few posts excepted).

Views from Boyes Drive, Cape Town, South Africa

Boyes Drive is a scenic road that climbs the lower slopes of Muizenberg Mountain, providing an elevated route above the shoreline of False Bay that offers panoramic views over Muizenberg beach and the Cape Flats. On a clear day, views include great vistas over False Bay with the Hottentot's Holland Mountain range in the distance.

This coastal road always reminds me of the Med with its windswept pines.

Painful manifestation of my emotions

I felt out of sorts on the flight out to Cape Town. Nothing I could put my finger on, but assumed it was just part of the excitement about seeing everyone.

I didn't feel much like eating, so didn't, cos as you probably know, airline food is nothing to get excited about.

Gorgeous mountainous beauty

After spending Sunday with my in-laws, my mum and I drove up to Swellendam where she and my stepdad live.

Back home - happy and very relaxed

Mom's holiday shack

I flew back into Heathrow from Cape Town this morning after ten days in the Western Cape, South Africa, my darling hubby collecting me at some ungodly hour.

I am happy to be back in my own home, but sad at leaving family behind.

The numerology of life

These past three years have been rather stressful. I'd almost liken it to the "dark night of the soul"...but having been through many of those, I'm not sure it qualifies...or maybe it does in a different way.

Our Travels

Greg and I love travelling and exploring.

We are both are South African, but have been living in the UK for 17 years. We have found it a very central location.

I felt the need to document these travels – whether short day trips or epic holidays and encompasses Greg’s recent passion for photography, as well as my love of flora, our combined delight in fauna and the world around us…oh and of course…each other.

Our earliest travels were on a very tight budget, so much of our early holidays with two children in tow, were spent in tents, our faithful ‘old banger’ (with a cheerful backfire or two!) piled high always managing to get us where we needed to be. Despite the budget restrictions, we had fabulous times.

Kasbah - Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou, Morocco

Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou - the ksar, a group of earthen buildings surrounded by high walls, is a traditional pre-Saharan habitat. The houses crowd together within the defensive walls, which are reinforced by corner towers. Ait-Ben-Haddou, in Ouarzazate province, is a striking example of the architecture of southern Morocco.

Telouet Kasbah, Morocco

Telouet is a Kasbah along the former route of the caravans from the Sahara over the Atlas Mountains to Marrakech. It lies at an elevation of 1,800 metres (5,900 ft) and was the seat of the El Glaoui family's power. The palace can still be visited but it is steadily becoming more damaged and is slowly collapsing. In 2010, work was underway to restore the property.[1]

Kasbah - el Glaoui palace, the Taourirt Kasbah - Ouarzazate, Morocco

Ouarzazate (Berber: Warzazat ⵡⴰⵔⵣⴰⵣⴰⵝ; Arabic: ورزازات‎), nicknamed The door of the desert, is a city and capital of Ouarzazate Province in the Souss-Massa-Drâa of southern-central Morocco. Ouarzazate is at an elevation of 1,160 metres (3,810 ft) in the middle of a bare plateau south of the High Atlas Mountains. To the south of the town is the desert.

The town is chiefly inhabited by Berber-speakers, who constructed many of the prominent kasbahs (locally known as: iɣeṛman) and buildings for which the area is known. Ouarzazate is an important holiday destination in Morocco, as a base for excursions across the Draa Valley and into the desert. The fortified village (ksar) of Ait Benhaddou west of the city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Ouarzazate area is a noted film-making location, with Morocco's biggest studios inviting many international companies to work here. Films such as Lawrence of Arabia (1962), The Living Daylights (1987), The Last Temptation of Christ (1988), The Mummy (1999), Gladiator (2000), Kingdom of Heaven (2005), Kundun (1997), Legionnaire (1998), Hanna (2011), and Salmon Fishing in the Yemen (2011) were shot here, as was part of the TV series Game of Thrones.

Atlas Mountains, Morocco

One day whilst in Marrakech in February this year, we decided to take a guided tour of the Atlas Mountains. Stunningly beautiful scenery. But oh so very cold...and yes that is snow on the mountains.

Our driver was excellent and our tour guide very knowledgeable. Both were very kind caring and generous. We had an excellent time. Nothing was too much trouble.

Marrakech, Morocco: Riad Dar Meryem

We stayed in the ancient walled city of Marrakech (medina) at a Riad called Dar Meryem.
Riad - "a large traditional house built around a central courtyard, often converted into a hotel."

Our hosts were heartwarmingly kind and generous, nothing was too much trouble...and the food was excellent.

Wildlife

This morning I had the most astounding experience.

Hubby and I were lying entwined together when I realised that we were surrounded by animals…and birds. I could feel their energy moving in through my feet and up into my body and as it did so it created this most amazing sense of peace and tranquillity...with a dash of longing.

I didn’t want to think too much about it…but having an analytical brain…I did…and stopped the energy from moving past my neck. Weyho…silliness…so I stopped and sank into the feeling.

Fond and not so fond memories

I recently did a search on Facebook to see if I could find out about my old high school in Windhoek, Namibia. I found a group started for all St Pauls College students – old and new and so I decided to join and have found a few old school ‘friends’.

Sacred union

There is also so much going on esoterically that I cannot keep up. Meh…

When we left Castries to visit our friend in Menton, I was feeling quite tired. I have come to know the difference between being tired enough to sleep and tired enough to meditate. One means that I can meditate for an hour and come out refreshed, the other means I need a good night’s sleep (although these days it can be short – 2 or 3 hours).

Anyway hubby put some music on – Andrea Bocelli – and I lowered the angle of my seat and proceeded to meditate.  I found myself in the company of Archangel Chamuel.

We were about to undergo a ritual ceremony. Everything lately that happens to me, happens to hubby as well and therefore I asked that someone be driving the car through hubby so that we did not have an accident.

I cannot remember too much in detail, but what I do remember was the beauty of the celebration had me in tears – but not tears of sadness – tears of happiness and joy. We were being given our service. I’d asked a while ago what our service to humanity was going to be, as I no longer transmute energy for the collective and am no longer an anchor of balance for love and pleasure in the 3D world.

Basically hubby and I will travel and anchor our energy, thereby creating rivers of energy all over the world so that whenever we have sacred union through lovemaking it will travel down these rivers and reinforce the energy of love and pleasure in 5D. There will be many sacred union couples doing similar or different aspects of this work, but they will all overlap creating a tapestry.

This was the main reason (beside visiting friends) that we needed to move along the Riviera of France. There is a very dense 3D energy of greed. I did not go into Monaco – we simply drove past it. We did stop at Cannes which was heavily intense and by the time I got to Menton I was feeling overwhelmed. The main reason is that I still have not acquired the ability to use the osmosis that Athena has been teaching me. I still find myself wanting to fall back into old patterns. Trial and error, eh?

My dear friend and I met at a fair where we both had a stall next to each other, approximately 7 years ago. She was advertising for her healing work and I was selling my own flower/gem essences. We got chatting and never looked back.

We both have recall of the same lifetime as Roman soldiers – me as one of her foot soldiers and she as the general. I have no idea when and it doesn’t really matter, as what is important is the emotions that came from that lifetime. I had great admiration for her as my leader and would have followed her into hell. I remember being devastated when she died. I couldn’t believe that such a powerful force was a mere mortal. It really disheartened me.

We did an exchange of healing and during mine I was approached by two grays. Their energy was very benevolent and they removed an implant in my left hip.

While in Menton, hubby spent a great deal of time with my friend’s dad, who was out from Blackpool on holiday. Hubby was glowing with health and vitality and in such a good space. It made my heart lift and sing with happiness. As we were leaving her father started singing, ‘Wish me well as I wave you goodbye’ and dancing with a smile on his face. My friend said as we were walking to the car, that she’d never seen her father do that before, so he must have really enjoyed hubby’s company.

We arrived home in the UK to some very good news. A while ago when I was told we would be travelling a lot more, I stressed to them ‘up there’ that I would not do any of this unless they supplied the finances so it would not impact on us. We’d been discussing on our return trip whether or not to go to Australia to see our daughter. She’s made the decision to settle there. I really want to see her as I miss her quite a bit. Voila! Weren’t we surprised to find the finances are starting to fall into place for this ‘holiday’.

So, Australia, here we come next year, to anchor more of the energetic rivers for the sacred energy to flow down. There are one or two things to sort out first before we book tickets, but it is all more or less in place. WOW, they sure work in fast and mysterious ways – how much loving and pleasure did we create on holiday to draw this abundance to us? The mind boggles.

Finally, I would like to add that I am very honoured, humbled and blessed to be part of the anchoring of the sacred union energy.

Memories

I am sitting here listening to Santana’s ‘Inner Secrets’ – reminds me of my teenage years.

I learnt to drive to this album, the music turned up loud. My boyfriend at the time was in the army and it was in his car that I had quite a few lessons…until the last time when I was so confident and travelling at such a speed that as I cornered, I almost flipped his car into a ditch or a ‘donga’ as they are called in Africa. His eyes were so large as he clung to the side of the seat, when I turned to look at him exhilarated that I’d managed to control the car in its slide across the dirt track. Needless to say that was the last time he offered to let me drive :)

Warriors

As you might or might not know, war has been a part of my life for a while. Living in South Africa and Namibia as a youngster, we were in a ‘state of war’, surrounded by soldiers. This perception was fed by the propaganda of the South African government.  All young men were conscripted as soon as they left school at the tender age of 17 (or given dispensation to study for a degree and then conscripted once they’d finished). So every South African male was a warrior, whether in the army, navy or air force.
