Ramblings about life . . .

What I share about my life is simply to help reinforce the understanding that it is possible to live with love and laughter, even with tough times.

Life is what we make of it, no matter how harrowing. We accept and embody this with-in ourselves, thereby allowing the energy to manifest outwardly in our reality.

It starts with each one of us as an individual to form the collective consciousness.

Be the dream.

We honour the light and the life within you.

I upload other bloggers' posts and then delete after a month. This is my journey and others help me understand where I am, until they become irrelevant (a few posts excepted).

Waiorongomia Valley Gold Mines, NZ

Greg, Ashlee and I went to Te Aroha (means the loving in Maori) to go walking, or "tramping" as it is called here.

We wanted to climb Butler's Incline, something we'd planned for a while but never got around to doing.

We knew it would be difficult, lol, but had no idea how difficult.

I had to stop 7 or 8 times.

I'm reasonably fit, but was totally knackered when I got to the top (see my next post).

Despite this I actually enjoyed the "torture".

From Greg's FB page:

Waiorongomia Valley Gold Mines

We walked up the famous Buttlers Incline-just over 400 metres long at a 25-30 degree incline (approx 845 sleepsers/steps) The visitors guide map says it takes approx 30-45minutes. Today more like an hour+ of constant uneven climbing in 27C temp. Hot and humid as hell under the forest canopy.

This is me in the beginning still smiling

I'm beyond exhausted

I made it
