Ramblings about life . . .

What I share about my life is simply to help reinforce the understanding that it is possible to live with love and laughter, even with tough times.

Life is what we make of it, no matter how harrowing. We accept and embody this with-in ourselves, thereby allowing the energy to manifest outwardly in our reality.

It starts with each one of us as an individual to form the collective consciousness.

Be the dream.

We honour the light and the life within you.

I upload other bloggers' posts and then delete after a month. This is my journey and others help me understand where I am, until they become irrelevant (a few posts excepted).

Sailing ships

I'd like to say that I understand what happened this weekend, but I don't.

I know that some part of me does, but the human me is completely mystified.

The amazing alchemy that is life

The deeper we move into this month, the more I realise the energies with-in me have changed in a tangible way making everything so much easier.

For years, the clearing of negative emotional debris has been my focus. I’ve always wondered when it would end because it seemed to go on forever. It is still an on-going quest, but is, as I said, much easier and much quicker.

As time has gone by, I noted the changes with-in manifesting in my reality with-out. But it was so subtle that it was in looking back that I recognised how much I’d transformed.

Exposed and to a degree...vulnerable

Today is a day I keep thinking, ‘What’s the point?’ and want to throw my hands up in the air.

When I have a day like this I know it is not the actual question that is relevant. It has taken me years to figure out why I have them. I used to think it meant that I’d lost faith. It doesn’t.

It simply means I have reached a zero point or time out. To stand still and BE in this time between – a no-breath time. No plans, no figuring things out..there is no point as this is a time of no-thing and all that will happen is that I will become frustrated. And so I've learnt to accept it and simply BE.

Byron Bay and Wallis Caves

More places we visited on our 2012 Australian holiday.

Byron Bay is a very pretty town, very commercialised, but nonetheless great fun.

We went to the market whilst there. Don't ask me what happened to the photos - all we seem to have are beach pictures.

We came across a biltong stall run by a South African. Whilst chatting it turns out that he originally lived in Muizenberg, Cape Town and went to school with my cousins. Greg and I built a wooden house opposite the high school and he recalls watching it being built! How's that for six degrees of separation?

Woohoo - holiday

Woohoo…I’m officially on holiday. Hubby’s last day today and then we’re off to France on Sunday for some fun, sun, good food and wine and loads of lurving :)

For the first time in 21 years we are having a holiday without children, family or friends - just the two of us. We’re crossing by ferry from Dover to Calais early morning and stopping off at a wine farm for a night on our way down to the south coast.
