Ramblings about life . . .

What I share about my life is simply to help reinforce the understanding that it is possible to live with love and laughter, even with tough times.

Life is what we make of it, no matter how harrowing. We accept and embody this with-in ourselves, thereby allowing the energy to manifest outwardly in our reality.

It starts with each one of us as an individual to form the collective consciousness.

Be the dream.

We honour the light and the life within you.

I upload other bloggers' posts and then delete after a month. This is my journey and others help me understand where I am, until they become irrelevant (a few posts excepted).

Gerringong/Werri Beach, Christmas 2013

Gerringong - "This hilltop village overlooks a great swathe of blue ocean that promises long days of sport and sunshine. Stay around town a while and you'll discover this atmospheric town also has a taste for the finer things in life, including wines, great fishing and golf. There are seven courses in close proximity to Gerringong. Gerringong is also within easy reach of Sydney - less than a two-hour drive away;€“ yet it might as well be another world."

We hired a holiday home in Werri Beach, just below Gerringong for two weeks where the whole family gathered over Christmas. Bruce came down for a weekend before flying out to Cape Town to join his wife and children on their vacation.

The house is right on the mouth of the lagoon, two houses down from the beach - a perfect location.

There was a skink living in the bathroom. More than once scared the bejeebers out of us by suddenly appearing and zipping across the floor at unexpected times both day and night. We eventually got used to him.

The view from the very large kitchen was magnificent. I wouldn't mind living with that view permanently.

The weather ranged from super hot to cold and windy. We witnessed some spectacular thunder storms, made all the more awe inspiring by switching off the lights, sitting in the dark oohing and aahing at the flashes of lightning. Afterwards a hot wind blew - reminded me of Cape Town's berg winds.

There was lots of fishing (Oz's favourite past time besides cricket and rugby), investigating rock pools and the Jurassic type landscape, swimming, walking and sightseeing.

We had a good time.
