I discovered this heartwarming message left by my boss on Facebook
"This evening we say goodbye and a fond farewell to Karen Cottle, one of our longest serving Sleep Technicians, as she prepares for a new life in New Zealand. Karen has been a linchpin of the technician service since 2006, and will be very much missed. She passed her examination to become a Registered PolySomnoGraphic Technician (RPSGT) this summer after arriving in the Sleep Centre over nine years ago as a complete beginner - a qualification well deserved! We will mark the occasion with a farewell dinner out in East Grinstead tonight.
Take care, and very best wishes for the future Karen from all of us here. Don't forget to visit when you return to the UK."
So now I feel sad again...
